The project "Business Schools" of the 2022-2023 academic year

The 2022-2023 academic year within the framework of the "Business Schools" project ended on this allotment. The Business School project was initiated by the Rector of the Kuban State Agrarian University Alexander Trubilin and the Chairman of the Southern Regional Committee of the Association of European Businesses Oleg Zharko in June 2014.


Already in May 2015, the first graduation of the Business School at the Kuban State Agrarian University took place, and in September 2015, the project was presented at the All-Russian Meeting of rectors of agricultural universities.

Today this unique project is being implemented in four major universities in the South of Russia – Kuban State Agrarian University, Kuban State Technological University, Kuban State University (Krasnodar) and Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don) with the support of 13 leading companies, including members of the Southern Regional Committee of the Association of European Business.

The rich educational program ranges from 90 to 100 hours of classroom classes and is developed by a special working group of HR managers and directors of participating companies. It includes lectures by leading practitioners of companies participating in the project, tasks for solving business cases, excursions to enterprises and holding business games. The Business School students are students of 3-4 bachelor's degree courses and 1-2 master's degree courses, which are selected on a competitive basis.

The business school at the Kuban State Agrarian University received its further development in 2021: a separate program was developed and implemented for a group of university teachers, which is also formed based on the results of a competitive selection.

In 2022, to determine the strategy for the development and consolidation of the Business School project, a Coordinating Council was created, which included representatives of companies and the management of all 4 universities where the project is being implemented. The Chairman of the Project Coordination Council is Oleg Zharko, Corporate Affairs Director Center South Region, the Head of Business Service Center Danone. To solve organizational issues in a timely manner, there is a working group consisting of project coordinators of each university under the leadership of Igor Brener, Employee Experience, Cargill GHRS Russia.

The defense of business cases and the ceremony of awarding certificates to graduates took place on May 16 and 18, 2023 at the Kuban State Agrarian University, and on May 17, 2023, at the Kuban State University. Certificates of Business School graduates signed by the heads of companies and universities were awarded to 20 students at the Kuban State University Business School, 16 students and 14 teachers became graduates of this year's project at the Kuban State Agrarian University.


In total, 65 students and 14 teachers graduated from the project at all four universities by the end of the 2022-2023 academic year. Over the years of the project, 27 teachers and more than 700 students have been trained in Business Schools, many of whom are now employees of leading companies in the South of Russia, including members of the Association of European Business.
