AEB is pleased to invite you to a briefing by Dmitry Levchenkov, Head of the special economic zones and project financing Department. The briefing will focus on Russia’s Special Economic Zones.
The event will take place on September 29th, 2010, in Moscow, at Krasnoproletarskaya 16, bld 3, entrance 8, second floor, hall “Mc Kinley”, from 16:00 till 17:30 (registration starts at 15:30).
In Russia, there are 4 different types of special economic zones: industrial and production zones, technology and innovation zones, tourist and recreational zones and port zones. These zones are located in different Russian regions and are already functioning, with resident foreign and Russian investors. Residence in these special economic zones provides its investors with several advantages, including some tax and customs benefits, as well as several other exemptions. However, with the recent formation of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, the regulation in these zones has been slightly modified. Thus, the RF Ministry of Economic Development would like to update AEB members on the latest developments in this legislation and inform foreign investors of the vast opportunities available in these special economic zones.
The working languages of the Event are English and Russian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.

AEB members’ participation for assigned representatives is free of charge;
Fee for additional representatives of AEB members is 3,000 RUR (VAT not applicable);
Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);
