Ten years ago we have launched a new format event Talks on the Russian Economy "A Decisive Year? Macro-Economic Outlook on 2024" inviting widely known and recognised experts, Russians and foreigners, for discussing the most burning and vital issues for the development of the Russian economy, proposing fine and deep analysis and hopefully offering some solutions.

We are pleased to invite you to the twelth round of these talks which will be devoted to the results of the last year and persectives for 2024. Will be the year 2024 decisive? Will it be as 2023? How will the banking system feel? Will the investment dynamics affect foreign trade?

The event will take place on Feburary 20th, 2024, from 11:00 to 13:00, via ZOOM.

The participants of this event are well known and highly appreciated by the AEB members and considered as ones of the best analysts among business community experts:

Evgeny Nadorshin, Chief Economist, PF Capital, will asses growth and risk factors for the Russian economy;
Evgeny Koshelev, Director of the Market Research and Strategy Office, Rosbank, will speak about past and future of the Russian banking system;
Jacques Sapir, Director of studies at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris / Head of the Centre d’Étude des Modes d’Industrialisation (CEMI-EHESS), will analyze the investments and their possible impact on the foreign trade.

The event will be chaired by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO.
